The Scoop on Branson

Recipe for Branson, MO:
-Take some of Nashville, TN
-Las Vegas lights
-Add a little Route 66 nostalgia
-a little Ocean City, MD
-Southern hospitality
-gospel
and mix it all together and you've got Branson, MO

I've never been to a place quite like this and knowing that I probably never would, so we just HAD to stop here and experience it. We love our timeshare - Wyndham Branson at the Meadows (thank you Chris, Susan and Kathy for giving us your points) - it has everything we'd ever need, including LAUNDRY machines in our room, a much needed bonus when living out of your suitcase for a month. They have 5 pools, which excites Princess very much, 2 playgrounds, movies, ponds, and evening socials. Today, my goals is to stay at the resort and relax and play here. Tonight we are going to the family carnival and dinner here. Saturday, we're going to Island Fire, a luau dinner and polynesian fire show. Other shows we're hoping to see include:
-Shoji Tabuchi (based on mom's recommendation. I'm sure I'll have MUCH to report on this). It is apparently THE show to see here.
-Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede - kids love animals
-Noah's Sight and Sound -
-Silver Dollar City, an amusement park that has Princess and Spiderbaby's favorite character - Bob and Larry in a live show. We'll spend 2 days here.
-Titanic exhibit. They built a huge replica of the boat on the Branson strip and they have the biggest exhibit here. Mouse really wants to see this.

My posts/email response may be spotty over the next week, as our WiiFi is spotty here at the resort, only real downside.

The Shoji was probably one of my favorites I'd have to say!
